It's time!

Since I have successfully avoided posting anything in April and May, I have decided to do a little catching up! (What else is new, right?) The following is a very brief cap on our life the last two months, so bare with me...
Easter was spent on an awesome camping trip with my family! Jeff, Chloe and I rented a small RV and drove down to Arches National Park. It was fabulous! Chloe loved hiking and playing in the dirt and I loved having a potty near my bed! (That's really the only important thing while you are pregnant!)

Here is Chloe's first experience at Delicate Arch! The first picture was taken the first night we got there. My dad and Jeff decided to go up at 8:00 pm...and take Chloe too. She did a lot better than I did. I couldn't help but worry about them the whole 2 1/2 hours they were gone. So yes, Delicate Arch is just to the right of Chloe in the dark picture, you just can't see it. The next time, we all went as a family. Poor kid pooped at the beginning of the hike and just kept saying, "My bum!" All the way to the top. She still mentions the infamous diaper change up at the arch!

This day/place was really windy! With all of the sand flying around, we tried our best to keep Chloe protected! At first, she really hated the cover over her. But she loved it once we called it her "cougar cave!" She's awesome!

By the end of the trip, she was worn out! It was the best Easter ever!

NEW BED!
We decided it was time to move Chloe into a 'big' bed. It really is small, but to her, it's big! I bought it on KSL and she has slept in it just great...for the most part!

She has always done really well during the night in her new bed. Even when she wakes up in the morning, she doesn't open the door until we come get her. Naps, on the other hand...

A couple of days ago, I found that she had stuffed a few wipes under the door before she went down for her nap. She also got out a diaper cover and proceeded to dress herself for nap time. She is so funny!

CHLOE'S HOBBIES
Chloe is a well rounded kid...physically and characteristically!

Chloe has always seen Jeff work out, and sometimes myself, and participated the best that she could. One day she really wanted to get on the stationary bike with Jeff, but that wasn't going to help him at all. So he rigged up her own bike!

Chloe likes to play all kinds of games, but her favorite is hide and seek! She even will play by herself. She ends up sitting in the dark cupboard for awhile. It really is a nice break!

Chloe is very musical! She loves to sing in the shower, in the car and at church! Here she is, rocking out to Rascal Flatts with her best friend, Monk!

BIG PURCHASES!
Sorry I don't have any pictures for this section, but I promise, there will be some at a future date. First off, I have an amazing husband! That is where this all starts! He gave me an iPad for Mother's Day, and I absolutely love it! I hardly ever turn on my other computers because I just love to use my iPad all the time!
So, in return, I gave him a motorcycle! Well, ok, we decided on it together, but I like to say it was from me. Our friends are moving soon and wanted to sell the husband's bike. So, the wives got together and collaborated and poof...both husbands have new bikes! Jeff just took his motorcycle to work for the first time today, and the guys in the office are so jealous! I'm not going to lie, he looks really good on it!
Last, but not least...we bought a house!!! YEA!!!! We have been house hunting for over a month now. To those of you who have house hunted before think, "that's not long at all." Please take into consideration that I am 7 months pregnant and have a 2 year old. So anyway, it was a long, frustrating time for me. We got really close to putting an offer on a great house, but soon learned it wasn't for us (there was an offer accepted 2 hours before we decided to put an offer down.) This was really hard for me! I really wanted to be done, but that was ripped right out of my grasp. So, I humbled myself and kept on going! We have ended up in a brand new house in Herriman, UT. The commute in only 30 minutes for Jeff and it's going to be a very cool community, once it's all done. Our house is built, but not finished. We are one of the first 5 houses to be built in the community, that will eventually take up 375 acres of land. It's going to be awesome! We went last Saturday to pick out counter tops, paint, cupboards, etc. It was really cool! So we get the cool new house and we get to pick most of the stuff that goes in it, but we only have to wait 45 days to move it! Crazy, huh? Anyway, there will be a lot more to come on the new house, I'm sure! Until then, if you know anyone looking to rent a 3 bedroom apartment in Midvale, send them my way!
