A Shout Out to Baby AJ!

It's been almost 3 months since our newest addition came into our family and I can't tell you how many times I have sat down to write this post. And, with out fail, as soon as I sit down, baby AJ starts to cry. He naps in my arms but I'm trying my best to get him out of that habit. I feel like my life consists of holding a baby. My house is a mess, dinners are non-exsistant, and the only one that changes out of PJs most days are Jeff...but we are all alive and at the end of the day, that's all that matters!

As I type this, the baby is in his bed wailing but I have decided not to get him out just yet. I have to share these cute pictures of my little guy! We all love him very much and we can't wait to watch him continue to grow!
The first family photo!

Easter

I actually took some pictures of our Easter extravaganzas, so I thought it would be nice to document on the blog! Some family came over on Thursday before Easter and we had a blast!

First, we decorated and, more importantly, ate Easter sugar cookies! Well, Adi was given an apple and that did not make her very happy!

Next, we dyed eggs with shaving cream!

I think the kids enjoyed dressing in their garbage bags and gloves better than actually dying the eggs! Adi needed to be restrained, but she thought it was pretty cool!

Here are the eggs drying! (Sorry, I never got a picture of the final product) It was fun, but a little too much for the 4-6 year olds.

Finally, we got to go on an Easter Egg hunt! (Which got moved to inside due to the rain.)

Adi wasn't too interested...until she found out what exactly was in the eggs!

So much fun!

The Easter Bunny made a special trip to our house on Friday night! (Jeff worked Saturday morning, I was gone on Saturday night, and we don't like to do the bunny thing on Sunday!)

The girls didn't know the difference! They loved it!

Easter Sunday, my whole family came to my house and had dinner! It was really fun!

We had a special Family Night about Jesus Christ and then the little ones got to make Resurrection Rolls! I would say it was a big success! One last thing...I just have to say how proud I am of myself for surviving another busy season...and being pregnant didn't make it any easier! Yay for April 15th!

Christmas and Birthday!

I know Christmas has already come and gone, but I am slow! Sorry about that! I did want to share the few pictures I actually took on Christmas and also the ones of Chloe's 4th birthday party! So far, it's been an eventful winter!
All decked out and ready for the girls!
Hung with care
Santa went a little overboard this year!

Anxiously waiting!
We had a wonderful Christmas morning full of lots of surprises! We also got to Skype with Jeff's youngest brother, who is currently serving a mission in Honduras. Technology is amazing!

A couple of weeks later, we celebrated Chloe's 4th birthday. She had some friends and family over for a Rapunzel themed party! It was a lot of work, but I think it turned out great!

First, we played dress ups!
The birthday crew in front of the castle!
Then, we laid paper all over the floor so the kids could draw on the "sidewalk," like in the movie!
Next, pin the apple in Maximus' mouth! Not gonna lie, I was impressed with my drawing of Maximus!
Finally time for presents...
and cake! Yes, she got two cakes!
Once again, here's me bragging about my creation!
Last, the kids yelled, "Rapunzel! Rapunzel! Let down your hair!" and their party favors were dropped from her tower!
So, that is what has been going on in the Andersen house as of late! And if you noticed the change in my background, Chloe and Adelaide are welcoming a baby brother into the family this June! We are very excited! Thanks for dropping by!
