Daddy Time!

I start each day with good intentions, but they usually don't turn out the way I plan. I'm sorry I haven't posted anything lately (Liz) but here are some pictures and updates!

I don't know if you know, but I have the best husband EVER!! He works really hard all day but is still able to come home and be the best Daddy at night. I know I wouldn't survive with out him! Chloe just loves to play with her Daddy and Adi will get there, I'm sure. Here are some pictures of the girls getting in the Daddy Time!

Believe it or not, Jeff does Chloe's hair more than I do. And I believe he is better at it! He also paints her finger nails and toe nails and just recently bought her a pack of 24 different polishes. She was in heaven!

Jeff took the girls to the playground one morning so I could sleep. These are pictures he tried to take before they left. You can see how much they are both enjoying it! The park was more fun for both of them!

Bath time is so much easier with Daddy home! I personally don't bathe both kids at once, but that's what makes Daddy so cool!

And, of course, Daddy wanted a quick fashion shoot of the girls in their towels! My family says both girls are Jeff in girl form...what do you think?

India Souvenirs

Jeff had the great opportunity to travel to India for work. He had a great time while the girls and I stayed with my parents! He has lots of cool pictures but I will wait to put them up until he is with me and can tell me what they all are. Until then, here are some cute pictures of the girls loving their souvenirs!

(My gifts included a beautiful turquoise necklace, a gorgeous red scarf, an awesome red elephant, and some delicious European chocolate! Sorry, no pictures!)

A Belated Shout Out To The Man I Love!

August 11th we celebrated 4 awesome years of marital bliss! Thanks, Jeff, for being my best friend! I love you!

The First Bath

I had to document this moment, not only because it was baby Adi's first bath, but this time Jeff was able to do it. He was out of town when Chloe had her first bath...sad! She really liked her bath from Daddy, but she certainly loved snuggling with Mommy after more!

I'm Only 1 Month Late!

I really don't want to make this a super long post, so I will try to keep it sweet and to the point with some fun photos! We got moved in to "Chloe's New House" on July 30th. If any of you went to the "UP" house during the parade of homes, you were in my neighborhood.

This is the view from my back door!

We were able to go to church in the new ward and let the right people know that I was having a baby any day. Everyone I met seemed great so I'm excited to be in that ward! Anyway, I worked really hard to put myself into labor now that we were moved in. It took a couple of days, but I finally made Jeff take me to the hospital at 12:30 am on August 2nd. I wasn't as far along as I would have liked, but my doctor had me admitted since she knew I nervous I was now that I was a lot farther away from the hospital. Everything went great! I won't go into boring details, but know that this labor was so much shorter and easier than the first!

Here she is! Adelaide Kim Andersen! Born August 2nd at 12:34 pm weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches long!

We are all doing great and loving our new addition!

Almost Ready!

We went out to see the house on Saturday and it's basically done! We are so excited to move in next weekend! We didn't get hit by any animals, so that's good. But, I did forget my camera so you'll have to deal with the lame photos I took on my iPad.

This is the view of the outside and then the view from the entryway!

This picture is the powder room (which I didn't have in the last post) and the finished fireplace!

MY beautiful kitchen! Now I might be motivated to actually cook!

Last, but not least, my laundry room and my double sinks in the master (plus the baby!)!

Thanks for taking a tour of our house. I'm sure this won't be the last post about it! Now, I have to go make food for a wedding, make it through the wedding with out going into labor, do our final walk through on Monday, take an intern to dinner on Wednesday, close on the house on Friday, and move in on Saturday...all the time not going into labor! Can I just say...AAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Oh Herriman!

As promised, I have pictures of our house! I must warn you, they were taken last week, which means there isn't much to look at, since we still have 3 weeks to go before it is finished. I'm sorry that I don't have a picture of the outside. I forgot to take one so that will have to be in the next update post! So, enjoy and I will do my best to try to explain which room is which!

This is the entry way. Off to the right is the living room and then down farther to the right is a powder room (sorry, no pictures!)

At the end of the entry way, you have the kitchen to the left and the family room to the right!

When you go upstairs, you have the bathroom, office, laundry room, and Chloe's room (left picture) on the left and the loft (right picture) is on the right!

Straight down the hallway, at the top of the stairs, you'll find the Master bedroom on the right (along with my jetted tub) and the baby's room on the left (no picture)!

To finish up our tour, we go back down to the kitchen to look at the backyard. It's pretty big, but you can't tell from this picture. You'll just have to come visit and see for yourself!

Sorry, I didn't have any pictures of the basement and I didn't include a lot of the smaller details. I promise more pictures once we go out again to check on it. Next week, the appliances are going in along with the granite counter tops, so I think we'll go out next weekend for sure. One warning, if you ever do come visit us in Herriman...watch out for the wild life that like to run into the middle of the road!

On our way out of our community, we were hit by an antelope. No, we didn't hit her, she ran right into us. We are all ok, but the Xterra took a small beating! Oh how grateful I am for SUVs and insurance!
