I thought I had no time for myself when I first had Chloe but now I truly understand what it's like to have no me time. When Jeff has a deadline at work, I am a single mom and it's hard! Fortunately, my parents live close and they are so willing to save my sanity! Me and the girls go over there when Jeff goes out of town (which has been August, September, October and will be November). But, with a lot of help, I have had some time to do some things that I enjoy!
First off, a couple weeks after Adelaide was born, I was worried that she might have an allergy to lactose, so I decided to go off dairy. But before I could totally commit, I wanted one last Hooray and this is what I chose...

YUM!!!
While I was staying at my parents', while Jeff was in New York, my mom received an assignment for the church. She had to update a poster showing what materials you should use when teaching a lesson. She knew she wasn't creative enough and so she lucked out that I was staying with her. We had a good time going all around looking for the materials we needed. After taking off a couple of days of work, checking multiple craft stores, and hauling two children all through Hobby Lobby, we were able to finish in time to have the poster up for General Conference!

Lastly, I had purchased some frames for our new family pictures a while back but never got around to hanging them. The only reason I finally got them up was because I knew we would be having company over after Adelaide's baby blessing and I didn't want my walls to be bare. So here is a picture of our "Family Wall"!

But the part I am most proud of is the Andersen. I drew that! It looks like I used a calligraphy pen, but I only used felt tipped pens. So yeah, I thought it turned out nice!

Don't get me wrong, I love being a mom and I absolutely love my two girls! But it is nice to remind myself that I've still got some talent!
